A manufacturer first
Before ABAGY, Zverkov founded a group of companies with 20 years of experience in exhibition booth construction, and ran his own furniture and metal structures production.1
He started ABAGY after struggling to integrate robots into that production, and concluded that robots needed new technology to work in high-mix, low-volume shops, not just mass production.1
Building ABAGY
ABAGY now has offices in the US, Germany, the UAE, and Cyprus, with its US headquarters in Houston and a demonstration center in Chicago, Illinois. Its about page lists almost 40 engineers and programmers.1
ABAGY sells turnkey welding cells or retrofits robots a shop already owns, with partner financing over 12 to 84 months.3 Its case studies include Pro-Dig, which added a second, larger robotic welding system after its first ABAGY-enabled cell.2
