Founding Dexterity

He founded Dexterity in Redwood City, California, in 2017 with a team of Stanford roboticists, betting that AI could give robots dexterity rather than just motion. The company says its systems have since made more than 100 million autonomous actions in production.1

In July 2026 FedEx expanded Dexterity's Mech trailer loaders beyond its pilot site to production scale at its Hagerstown, Maryland, hub.2

In June 2026 Dexterity and Kawasaki Robotics expanded their collaboration, pairing Kawasaki's RL030N arms with Dexterity's Mech robots for trailer loading and unloading.3
