Founding Wandercraft
Masselin started Wandercraft in Paris in 2012 with Nicolas Simon and Jean-Louis Constanza. The company says its founders were driven by a brother and a son who were losing the ability to walk.1
In 2019 Atalante became the first self-balancing walking exoskeleton to earn a CE mark in Europe, and the company has since moved into the home with Eve, its personal device.1
Ekso Bionics and Calvin
On October 1, 2026 Wandercraft announced its acquisition of Ekso Bionics, putting four exoskeletons under one owner.3 Masselin told IZON the combined company can produce up to 2,000 units a year at its Paris facility and has devices in more than 700 rehabilitation centers.2
He has said the scale from Ekso also helps Calvin-40, Wandercraft's humanoid robot for industrial work, which needs manufacturing, field validation, and global support.2
