Who Paul Gudonis is

Gudonis has led Myomo since 2011. His four-decade career runs through telecommunications, Internet services, software, robotics, and medical devices, usually at the point where a new technology was being brought to market.1

Engineering at Northwestern and early cellular

Gudonis earned an electrical engineering degree at Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering and an MBA from Harvard University.1

Early in his career he helped introduce AT&T's first cellular service, and he held executive posts at EDS, Ameritech, Appex Corporation, and Spectrum Interactive.1,2

Genuity and Centra Software

As chairman and chief executive of Genuity, Gudonis grew BBN's $5 million regional Internet backbone, BBN Planet, into a $1 billion provider serving businesses, government, and Internet service providers. After Genuity's assets were sold to Level 3 Communications, he stayed on as an executive vice president of the combined company.2

In July 2003 Centra Software, a Lexington, Massachusetts, collaboration software company, named him president and chief executive.2

Leading Myomo

At Myomo, Gudonis took the company public in 2017 through a Regulation A+ offering, which Myomo said would make it the first company to list on the NYSE MKT that way.3

In the second quarter of 2026 Myomo reported revenue of $11.7 million, with more than half coming through its MyoConnect referral program and other channels, and it raised its full year revenue guidance to $45 million to $47 million.4

Boards and FIRST Robotics

Gudonis has guided the growth of the FIRST Robotics program, chaired the Massachusetts High Tech Council, and served on public and private company boards. He also advises Northwestern's engineering school on engineering, medical innovation, and student entrepreneurship.1
